At Sail Buffalo Sailing School our goal is to train people to be safe, confident sailors, and provide on-water access, continuing education, and social networking to our Sail Buffalo Community!

The Sail Buffalo project entails the transformation of an abandoned inlet into a Community Boating Center that provides public access to Buffalo’s waterfront. We are an accredited sailing school with a mission to create an exciting safe and secure facility on Buffalo’s Outer Harbor, enabling public access to the waterfront through boating, wellness and environmental programming. Our goal is to provide a destination for on-the-water training, holistic learning experiences, wellness and environmental education regardless of income, gender and age, including people with disabilities, and to provide a safe-haven for young veterans and their families.

2019 Junior Sail Camp Season

Sail Buffalo’s Junior Sail Camp is open to children and teens between the ages of 7 and 18. It’s open for 10 weeks of the summer (June 24 – August 30), from 9am – 4pm on Monday – Friday (late pick up available). We will take kids without any sailing experience and over the course of one summer week make them a beginning sailor. In addition, a teen that has already completed one or more weeks of this program may continue on their learning experience – bringing them to the next level of sailing, including racing, and leadership!
