As we gear up for the 2022 Summer Sailing Season and our Jr Sailing Camp, we want to thank all the parents and their children for a banner summer season. I know you will all agree that our Team here at Sail-Buffalo thoroughly enjoyed teaching your children how to sail. We certainly hope you will return this summer for another exciting, fun- filled season.
As you may know, Sail Buffalo is a Non-Profit Organization that relies on donations and grants throughout the year. Some of our gifts have been used to purchase the new RS Zest boats (with the green sails) that you see our students sailing. We also added a new Godiac Inflatable boat to our fleet this year. Our instructors use this boat to navigate alongside our students. We received a generous gift that provided for new life jackets for our Junior Sail Camp program.
Our goal here at Sail Buffalo is to continuously upgrade and purchase new equipment for our students so we may provide them with a fun and safe sailing experience for years to come. We continue to provide our sailing students an opportunity to learn skills that will serve them well throughout their lives and to instill in them the love of the water, nature, self-reliance and camaraderie through sailing. Without this generous donor support, Sail Buffalo simply could not exist.
To better recognize our parents and friends who help to support Sail Buffalo, we have formed a special organization called the Sail Buffalo Mariners’ Club. The names of Mariners’ Club members and their giving titles will be published each year in our printed Annual Report and posted on our website.
I have attached a Mariners’ Club Membership form with information on how you can help. I hope you will join with our many parents and friends in making Sail Buffalo a more memorable experience for children. Remember, too, your gifts are tax-deductible.
We thank you for your loyalty, trust and continued support.
